Unwind in Secluded Luxury

Nestled into the gentle slope of Mount Stewart and overlooking Mount Franklin, Franklin Vale is an exclusive luxury retreat designed for those who seek immersive calm and considered beauty.

Each villa—Magnolia and Mulberry—offers over 100 square metres of light-filled living space, featuring cathedral ceilings, panoramic views, and curated interiors. Both villas feature private courtyard gardens, deep soaking tubs, and fully equipped kitchens, creating a seamless rhythm between indulgence and stillness.

Whether you’re soaking in the stillness or exploring the Daylesford region, Franklin Vale offers a stay that feels deeply restorative and beautifully considered—an escape crafted for presence, privacy, and quiet luxury.

The Villas

The villas at Franklin Vale balance soaring scale with intimate detail. Cathedral-high ceilings and full-length windows create an airy sense of space, while the breakfast nook offers a cosy corner to read or linger over coffee. In summer, open the windows to invite in fresh country air; in winter, the fireplace sets a warm, inviting tone for unhurried evenings. At night, soft light from lamps and wall sconces gently shifts the mood to calm. From the bedrooms, you’ll take in garden and hillside views — including from a deep soaking tub positioned to frame the natural setting.

A unique colour palette differentiates the villas: Magnolia’s green and Mulberry’s blue. Choose the mood that suits this stay — and come back to discover the other.

The Garden
Mulberry takes its cue from the mulberry tree at the entrance, framed by seaside lavender, vibrant red kangaroo paw and neat English box hedges. Surrounding plantings include ornamental plums, graceful crepe myrtle and smoky bush, with sculpted spheres of westringia and lavender providing rhythm and texture. The private courtyard garden centres on a magnificent sengaku maple in a large pot, visible from the villa’s bathroom and living spaces, while direct views to Mount Franklin extend the sense of space and calm.
